萝莉原创 Holds Annual Organizational Meeting
MARATHON, Ontario – The 萝莉原创 (萝莉原创) convened its 2025 Annual Organizational and Regular Board Meeting on Monday, November 18, 2024. The meeting highlighted leadership continuity and recognition of trustee contributions as the board embarks on another year of advancing education in the region.
Trustee Pinky McRae was acclaimed as the 2025 Board Chair, marking her fifteenth consecutive year in the role. Trustee Allison Jarvis was acclaimed as Board Vice-Chair for her fourth term. Upon accepting the role, Chair McRae expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from her fellow trustees and emphasized her enthusiasm for continuing the implementation of the board's new Multi-Year Strategic Plan, which sets priorities for student success and system-wide growth.
The 萝莉原创 is composed of 11 trustees representing various communities:

- Trustee Jason Nesbitt (Schreiber/Terrace Bay Ward)
- Trustee Patrick Liscomb (Greenstone Ward)

- Trustee Julie Michano (Nipigon Ward)
- Trustee Kal Pristanski (Red Rock/Dorion/Hurkett Ward)
- First Nations Trustee – Vacant Position
- Student Trustee Zoey Krause
- Student Trustee Miley Anthony
The board is actively working with its First Nations community partners to fill a vacancy for the First Nations Trustee.

With trustees playing a vital role in shaping education policy and adapting to the evolving needs of the community, the board continues to uphold its mission of providing high-quality education and helping every student reach their full potential.

Trustees are elected or appointed representatives who ensure Ontario's education system evolves to meet the changing challenges of today's world.
